作品介紹

臺灣為移民社會,在飲食上融合多元文化,我們希望透過手路菜重新分類並梳理出屬於臺菜的臺式美學,讓傳統與現代共存,達到藝術向下紮根與文化認知向上延展的目的。 視覺設計運用線性解構的方式, 勾勒出臺灣料理的淬鍊與工法,從早期器皿上的紋飾延伸到插畫中,讓傳統與創新得以緩慢交融。 配色上選用代表台灣人文精神的台灣紅「桃粉色」做為核心,取樣出獨具特色的螢光粉搭配對比的綠色,使整體在理性美學與野性台味中找到平衡。 輸出上大量使用網版印製的方式,讓油墨一層一層堆疊,道出台灣早期經典料理多是運用套疊菜色的烹調,展現多層次的口感及文化底蘊。 期望透過臺菜美術館的視角,引導觀者從20道插畫中,思考美學於臺灣料理的精神及價值,在不斷推演的飲食文化中,發現臺菜於生活中的文化路徑。

Taiwan is an immigrant society and its cultural diversity is reflected on the cuisine. We defined the aesthetics of Taiwanese cuisine by reclassifying the signature dishes. Our objective is to integrate the traditional with the contemporary for arts to take root and cultural literacy to develop. Visual design adopted linear deconstruction. This pictured sophisticated and crafted Taiwan cuisine. The decoration on the ancient tableware extended to illustrations. This made tradition mixed in innovation slowly. As it comes to colors, Taiwan red Coral Pink is the core. By sampling, unique fluorescent pink matched contrast green. By doing so, an overall balanced was achieved with sensible aesthetics mixed with untamed Taiwan touch. Screen printing applied to output. Ink stacked layer by layer. This tells the culinary stacking style of early Taiwan classic cuisine. Multilayer textures and cultural sophistication are shown. Hopefully, 20 illustrations exhibited at Taiwan Food Museum guide the audience to deliberate the spirit and value of aesthetics in Taiwan cuisine. Likely, this makes the public discover the cultural path of Taiwan cuisine in life out of food culture that evolves constantly.
