【從一棵森林的樹開始談職人空間精神】

”森林木人“ 是 Designer也是Maker，從「一棵樹開始做設計」的理念，設計理念執行者親自進入林、木業產業鏈，使用臺灣永續林業國產木-柳杉，以森林木『全幹使用』、『物盡其用』之創作精神，傳遞林業、木業、與Maker職人不同階段產業間的鏈結與互存關係，在具有歷史建築身份的瓶蓋工廠Ｉ棟，親手操作木作，打造「Maker Space - 職人手創空間」。

善用每一分寸木材，在每棵長度約25公尺柳杉，以樹心材作為職人的工作桌、燈具，柳杉的幹材、枝梢、邊料，則以層疊或豎立綑綁的方式，製作出服務檯、展示平檯，照明，發揮自然材料的力量， 也可以視空間規劃，雙手製作不同的桌體外型。

國產材柳杉友善工法、良善循環 - 在約275坪的歷史保護空間，沒有使用1根釘子，全數以螺栓、螺絲固定所有木材，在未來都還能被輕易地拆解還原，以雙手打造出永續、再利用實木物件。友善工法對待永續材料，讓每件傢俱在未來能被拆解成實木原本的樣子，良善循環再利用。 推廣尊重永續資源，雙手實踐工法以革新木構系統，進而勾起民眾參與空間而進一步了解林業發展背後的價值與友善環境的社會責任。

【Starting from a forest tree to talk about the spirit of craftsmanship】
[Forest Woodman] is both a designer and a Maker, starting from the concept of "designing from a tree", using Taiwanese forestry domestic wood-Cryptomeria, and conveying forestry, wood industry, and Maker with the creative spirit of "full dry use" of forest wood The linkages and inter-existence relationships between the different stages of the craftsmen's industries. In the first building of the bottle cap factory with the identity of a historical building, they personally manipulated the wooden work to create a "Maker Space”.

Make good use of every part of wood. In each cedar tree with a length of about 25 meters, the heartwood is used as the work table and lamps of the craftsman.

Promote and respect for sustainable resources. Practice the construction method with both mind and hands to innovate the timber structure system, and then arouse people's participation in the space to further understand the value behind forestry development and the social responsibility of a friendly environment.
